1950's reissue Fender Stratocaster

1950's reissue Fender Stratocaster

Here is my very well loved 1950’s reissue Fender Stratocaster. It’s suffered through many a gig with me over the years. The fact that it’s virtually bombproof meant it’s been put to the test in the roughest of clubs when I just couldn’t risk the infinitely more fragile Gibson SG, which is reserved for special occasions 🙂

Day 20 - The Green Bit

This is my second addiction (after photography of course). I love to fling sharpened bits of tungsten at this poor, unsuspecting board. It’s a great game, it’s cheap, easy to pick up and put down and difficult enough to be rewarding without being mind-bendingly frustrating!

Ornamental Bulbs

Ornamental Bulbs

Today it’s a little bit of neon, these are some ornamental bulbs we have. I have to say I’ve never thought much about them but it’s amazing how when you’ve been out all evening at a restaurant with your wife, you’ve come home late and realised that you’ve still not taken today’s picture that the oddest inspirations can hit you!

There is no chocolate, only Zuul!

There is no chocolate, only Zuul!

I’m going to stop blogging these posts from flickr as the pics always seem to frame badly so hopefully the extra few seconds it takes me to upload the pics here will be worth it 😉

I’m going through a bit of a good patch for inspiration at the moment, I did have a shot I wanted to take on Sunday but I can keep it in reserve until the muse is gone. For today/tonight … I thought i heard soft footsteps going down the stairs.

Day 17 – Bush, originally uploaded by AndyLane78.

Macro shot of a bush which is just comming into flower in the back garden. I have not touched this in any sort of post processing software, it’s straight out of camera.

Day 16 – Vines, originally uploaded by AndyLane78.

On a lovely sunny day, actually on a lovely sunny Saturday, we had to wait in all day because the electricity company had to com round and change our meter.

He showed up at 3pm so while the power was off I decided to take some snaps in the graden.

Day 15 – The Arc, originally uploaded by AndyLane78.

This is the Arc building at the NG2 Business park in Nottingham. It’s a panoramic shot made up of 4 different exposures, my lens just isn’t that wide!

In other news, I got my bag back today, it’s been handed into the lost and found at the bus depot. Nothing was missing so my faith in human nature is riding high at the moment, and it’s put me in a good mood for the weekend 🙂
