Day 80 – Peeper, originally uploaded by Andy Lane ~ Notts.

It’s been a hot day here again and the neighbours were having a birthday party for their two year old son. Janet and I stopped by for some beers and BBQ but I’m a little sad I didn’t try out the bouncy castle … it looked awsome!

Day 54 – Movement, originally uploaded by AndyLane78.

Another day, another photo. It’s getting tricky to keep taking pictures I’m happy with. Could be a bit of a slump but I think it’s just that I need to go out in the evenings after work more and venture further afield.

I’m off to the Maldives next week so that should fire up my creative juices, can’t wait!

Sometimes you just can’t beat a good sunset. I spent a fair amount of time setting up a shot this evening (lightbox, flash, stands, tripod, props etc). But as I was packing my stuff away I saw this out of the study window. What can you do?

Well, actually it’s a Japanese doll and it’s made from wood, but I prefer the title the way it is.

We went to Japan last year to visit my brother-in-law in who’s currently working for Toyota in Nagoya. It’s a crazy country and I love it very much, I hope we have the opportunity to go back some time in the future.

On the way home

On the way home

Took a few cheeky snaps on my compact while I was waiting for the bus on the way home from hospital. There’s lots to see in this one 🙂

Day 15 – The Arc, originally uploaded by AndyLane78.

This is the Arc building at the NG2 Business park in Nottingham. It’s a panoramic shot made up of 4 different exposures, my lens just isn’t that wide!

In other news, I got my bag back today, it’s been handed into the lost and found at the bus depot. Nothing was missing so my faith in human nature is riding high at the moment, and it’s put me in a good mood for the weekend 🙂

Day 11 – Inside out, originally uploaded by AndyLane78.

I took this photo out of a window at work, I really like the old window frame. The rough crumbling putty makes a nice frame for the image.
